Johannes Sailer is an artist & metal fabricator based in Edinburgh & East Lothian. Having trained in sculpture, fine art and welding & fabrication in both Scotland and Austria, Johannes has over 15 years experience of artistic projects and professional commissions (J.Sailer Fabrications). Johannes has worked with a number of Scottish design agencies, and has an ongoing partnership with Edinburgh-based architecture firm Konishi-Gaffney.
Johannes also works in affiliation with Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (ESW), offering workshop supervision and support to resident artists and makers wishing to expand their fabrication knowledge and skills. Johannes is a longterm tutor at ESW where he leads regular classes in metalwork and sculpture.
