St. Marks Church Clerkenwell, London

St. Marks Church Clerkenwell, London

In this particular instance we were working closely with the brilliant Zrp Architects in order to realise their vision to create a bespoke and visually striking access ramp leading up to the entrance of the historic church of St.Marks in Clerkenwell, London. The ramp is approx. 12m long and sits on a heavy steel plate framework. The feature handrail segments seamlessly project from the base of the walkway and consist of over 150 individually machined solid aluminium flat bars – these have gone through an anodising process in order to achieve the desired bronze finish.
